The Flowbird Parking app lets you save paper by having your pass for blue zone parking sent to your mobile phone. To get started, download the app and enter your vehicle details. Then go to the parking metre and enter your vehicle’s number plate. The pass will be sent to your phone, so you can avoid printing it out on paper. Ah! And no need to return to your vehicle to display the pass either.

Plus, the app will notify you when the pass is about to expire so you can go back to the metre and renew it.

However, users who prefer using a paper pass to the app can continue parking as usual, the only difference being now there’s no need to return to your vehicle to display the pass.
